Please find attached the April 2024 Newsletter. FoN attempted to send this out in early April, but a series of website and email problems prevented many of you from receiving it. Our apologies.
FoN is an affiliate of the National Peace Corps Association (NPCA) and uses the NPCA platform for our website hosting, email interface, donations processing and other functions. In April, NPCA began switching their hosting functions from their old platform to a new one, but the transition has not gone well, resulting in interruptions in all of our FoN services. These problems are slowly being addressed, but we still do not have full functioning on our website.
Please bear with us through the transitions. We will eventually sort them out and return to processing donations and renewals through our website, but we do not want to resume this capability until we are sure that it can be done efficiently and securely. In the meantime, all members will remain in "active status" and no one will be removed from our FoN rosters.
Thank you for your patience through these challenging transitions.
We expect the August newsletter to be published the first week of August, and you should receive it through an email notice at that time.
